Varsity football players warm up before the first football game of a delayed season against Prairie Ridge on March 19 at Huntley High School.
On Friday, March 19, the varsity football team played the Prairie Ridge Wolves under the lights at Huntley High School — the first in a season delayed by COVID and transformed by safety restrictions. Though few fans cheered the team on from the stands (IHSA guidelines allowed each player to invite only two spectators), in the end, the Warriors lost to the Wolves 16-42.
