WSM travels to Washington DC with Honor Flight

During the special trip to the nation's capital, students toured memorials with veterans and heard stories about their service

Warrior Student Media traveled with the Veterans Network Committee of Northern Illinois to Washington DC this past August, capturing the stories of veterans across the McHenry and Rockford community.

While most of the veterans fought in Vietnam, all of them finally received the “welcome home” that they deserved, and have longed for, for nearly fifty years.
