Seymour

Seymour (Matthew Zurawski) is the lead role and protagonist of “Little Shop of Horrors.” He’s characterized as a shy, awkward, nerdy loser who is constantly down on his luck. When he discovers a new plant, which he names after his coworker whom he has a crush on, his luck turns around. As the show continues, Seymour’s morals are challenged and he’s left to make a decision between the plant and his success, or the lives of those he cares for. He eventually feeds himself to Audrey II at the end of the musical.

Audrey

Audrey (Sara Plaiss) is the co-lead role and protagonist of “Little Shop of Horrors.” She’s a soft spoken, friendly girl who works with Seymour. For most of the musical, Audrey is stuck in an abusive relationship with her dentist boyfriend, Orin Scrivello, DDS. After his mysterious disappearance, though, she begins to take interest in her coworker Seymour and they remain close until the end of the musical. She dies after being injured by Audrey II and her remains are fed to the plant by her lover, Seymour.

Mr. Mushnik

Mr. Mushnik (Jonathan Carlson) is one of the major roles and a minor antagonist of “Little Shop of Horrors.” He’s the stingy, crabby owner of the flower shop Seymour and Audrey work in, Mushnik’s Flower Shop. He is only out for himself and his shop’s success, going to extreme lengths to keep Seymour beneath him after his sudden success. In a moment of tension, he’s tricked by Seymour and eaten by Audrey II, the plant that brought his shop to success.

Audrey II

Audrey II (voiced by Alfonso Gonzalez, operated by Alexander Bach & Kiernan Ecklund) is one of the major roles and the main antagonist of “Little Shop of Horrors.” Audrey II is the plant Seymour discovers at the beginning of the musical. As it grows, so does its hunger, leading to Seymour feeding it people. The plant continues to grow and feast until the resolution of the musical.

Orin Scrivello, DDS

Orin Scrivello, DDS (Caleb Bone), is one of the major roles and the secondary antagonist of “Little Shop of Horrors.” He is a sadistic dentist who enjoys watching the others be in pain. He is very abusive to his girlfriend, Audrey, leading to tension between him and Seymour. During an appointment, he accidentally dies to his own laughing gas. Seymour then feeds his remains to Audrey II, and his death is told off as a “mysterious disappearance”.

Doo-Wop Girls

The Doo-Wop girls, consisting of the trio, Ronnette (Arianna Jensen), Chiffon (Seven Snelten), and Crystal (Addyson Rebman) are the commentary of the musical, “Little Shop of Horrors.” They are present in many scenes and help add action to the performance and move the scenes along. They sing a lot, having their own songs and being harmonies for others. The trio is often heard commenting on the actions of major roles such as Seymour or Audrey.
