Ethan Rasmussen is a senior at McHenry High School’s Upper Campus. He often spends his time working out or working with the football team. Despite his busy schedule, he loves making time for his friends and family. This is Ethan’s second year on the Messenger’s staff.

Opioid addiction can happen in any place to any person, and its costs can be devastating. In the past few years, McHenry County has been hit hard by the opioid epidemic, but has the services in place to prevent tragedy.
