Lollapalooza will take place in Grant Park, Chicago, during Aug. 1-4, and will have eight headlining artists. The festival will showcase a grand total of more than 170 artists and groups from multiple places around the world. These artists will be performing across eight stages.
The 2024 Lollapalooza headliners will be Tyler, the Creator, Hozier, SZA, Stray Kids, The Killers, Future x Metro Boomin, Blink-182, and Melanie Martinez.
August 1 will bring headliners Tyler, the Creator and Hozier. Other popular artists playing that day include Labyrinth, Benson Boone, and Tyla. Skrillex will also be performing on that night.
August 2 will bring headliners SZA and Stray Kids. Laufey and “Mean Girls” actor Renee Rapp will also be performing on this day.
The Killers and Future x Metro Boomin will be headlining Lollapalooza on August 3. Deftones and Tate Mcrae, as well as K-Pop girl group IVE will be playing on this day.
August 4, the final day, will bring headliners Blink-182 and Melanie Martinez. In addition, Conan Gray, Dominic Fike, and Pierce the Veil will also be performing.
The lineup was announced on March 19, with tickets going on sale shortly after. Prices for four-day general admission went on sale on March 21, with prices increasing once one and two day tickets went on sale on March 26. VIP, Platinum, and GA+ tickets also went on sale on March 21.
Ticket prices range from $149-$585 for one day GA and VIP tickets, $299 for GA two day tickets, and range from $409-$1670 for GA to VIP four day tickets. Platinum tickets range from $2080-$4500 for one to four day admissions.
Lollapalooza seems to have become more diverse over the years, incorporating artists from many different countries. This makes the festival more diverse, allowing it to cater to a larger audience and gain in popularity even more so than it already has.
