Yesterday, MCHS’s Warriors at the Freshman and Upper Campuses started their first semester of the 2025-2026 school year prepared to learn.

As MCHS students filed in through the various entrances of Upper Campus, many greet friends after their summer or begin to plan their walking routes. The atmosphere is anxious yet optimistic, and as the first bell rings beginning the day everyone rushes to their classes. School is officially in session. 

“My first day is actually going pretty well.” junior Trey Granada says. “All my classes are pretty fun and I get to see all my friends.”

Seniors have started their final year as a Warrior while sophomores are beginning to ease into Upper Campus, and sophomores are starting at a new year, having come from the Freshman Campus.
