On August 31, MCHS’s cross-country team raced against other schools in the county during the McHenry Country Invite.

This was the first meet of the season and held at McHenry Township Park. MCHS was one of 13 schools in attendance, including many from the Fox Valley Conference and some outside it.

“I felt that it was a good representation and good showing of the kids’ hard work over the summer,” said assistant coach Dean Roehrborn. “I was happy with how things were going and how they raced.”
