On May 11, Seniors at MCHS are taking their finals on their final day of school.
Students at MCHS are taking their finals for their classes on May 19 and May 20. Their first four classes will be on the 19th and their last 4 on May 20. Seniors are taking their finals on Monday, May 11.
“So in the past, all senior finals have been in the gymnasium on the two days of senior finals,” says associate principal Kyle Hobson. “This year, students will be following their normal schedule and taking their finals with their teacher.”
In order to be exempt from finals as a senior you have to have an 80% or higher in the class, no more than four tardies or five absences and no ISS or OSS, during the second semester.
Hobson explains the finals schedule as, “the first day it’s (periods) one through four, and the second day it’s six-seven-eight-five.”
If seniors are exempt from all their finals, they don’t have to come to school on Monday.
