On Wednesday, Feb. 26, an airman from the U.S. Air Force immolated himself outside the Israeli Embassy to protest the war happening in Gaza.

In mid-December, McHenry restaurant Fox Hole Tap and Pizzeria closed because they no longer had a valid health permit, which they needed in order to serve food. They will not be re-opening.

On Feb. 28m the boys basketball team won their sectional game with a score of 58-53 moving them onto sectional finals for the first time since 1976. On Friday, the basketball team lost to Warren in the Class 4A sectional championship, ending a great season for the basketball team.
