On Oct. 28, beloved “Friends” actor Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing, was found dead in his hot tub after going through cardiac arrest. Perry was 54 years old with no wife and children.

On Oct. 27, 18 people were killed in a mass shooting at a bowling alley in Lewiston, Maine. Two days later, the suspected killer Robert Card was found dead near Lisbon Falls of apparent self-inflicted wounds.

On Saturday, MCHS’s Latin American Student Organization is hosting a Dia De Los Muertos celebration of life from 5-9 p.m. at Upper Campus with free entry. The event will feature face-painting and activities for children.
