McHenry celebrated the end of the summer during the Rotary Club’s Bands, Brews and BBQ festival on August 16-18 at Peterson Park.

The weekend of August 16-18, the McHenry Rotary Club hosted the Bands, Brews, and BBQ at Peterson Park

Though the weekend was rainy and cloudy, people turned out for the food, music, and fireworks set off on Sunday night.

The Austin’s Texas Lightning BBQ, Big E BBQ, Little Rock Stock Cafe, Riverside Chocolate factory, Dr. Veggie, Suzie’s Fun foods, Perk N Pickle and Genoa Italian Concession food trucks provided food for festival-goers while John Todd, Jimmy Nick, RealTime Noise, Recaptured, 8 Miles South, John Ballantyne’s Crazy Heart, Wildwood Country and Tennessee Whiskey played music.
