Students and staff gather at both campuses to share experiences and stories to honor women

West and East students and staff gathered at both campuses to celebrate MCHS International Women´s Day on the morning of March 6. At the event, teachers and students spoke about the inequality women still face to this day and celebrate accomplishments made by women through history. The empowering words spoken by everyone gave McHenry students who identify as female the pride they need to keep their heads up high and walk through the halls as equals to their peers rather than inferiors.
