Though many found the transition to digital IDs and passes confusing, students and teachers at both campuses are getting used to Minga and My Homework.

A digital upgrade?

A student is sitting on the 4th floor of MCHS’ new edition as a security guard approaches them. The student automatically pulls up their Minga ID proving that they are allowed out for flex learning....

Though digital apps like My Homework and Minga are designed to help students and staff, many have found the transition confusing and unhelpful — and a possible breach of privacy.

Because East and West Campus upperclassmen all attend the Upper Campus, students no longer need to travel between campuses to attend certain classes. But space during passing periods and lunches are more limited than ever — even with a new extension and open lunch.
