On Saturday morning MCHS students pulled a plane at O’Hare airport for the 2022 Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The 20 students who participated in this event pulled the United Airlines Boeing 2037 plane together and raised $1,600 to donate to the charity.

“It’s our 50th year of doing the airplane pull to support the Illinois Special Olympics,” stated PE teacher John Beerbower. “I couldn’t have been more proud of this year’s group. They raised the most money we’ve ever raised.”
